Dr. - Ing. habil. Rainer Blum After his studies in physics at the Universities of Saarbrücken and Munich, Dr.-Ing. habil. Rainer Blum made his PHD at the Institute of Structural Mechanics at the University of Stuttgart. This was followed by a Habilitation at the Institute of Construction Materials at the University of Stuttgart 1985 about “A Contribution to the Nonlinear Membrane Theory”. At this time he was member of the SFB 64 “Lightweight Structures” and one of the founders of SFB 230 “ Natural Constructions “ . 1985 he founded the Laboratory of Optics and Dynamics in Leonberg. Dipl. - Phys. Armin Egenter Studies of physics at the Universities of Munich and Constance followed by scientific works at the University of Constance, research work at CERN/ISOLDE. He was working as a lecturer in physics at the Berufsakademie Horb and as a scientific staff member of the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics in Stuttgart Since 1999 he has been working for Labor Blum in the fields of mesurement tools, thermal aspects and acoustics.
