Climatic Chambers
The thermal behaviour of membrane structures differs basically from the behaviour of massive buildings. Because of this fact, thermodynamic considerations for membrane envelopes can not be measured in an analogous manner to massive structures. In especially designed climatic chambers for membrane materials and multi-layer systems the thermodynamical conditions of membrane structures can be simulated. The results are realistic values which can be used for design and development of thermal measures for textile architecture.
